Rough Sketches

Hi. These are a few rough character designs that I came up with. I decided to do these since I was told once I should focus more on the life and shading of my characters and remove the colour and secondly since I was inspired by a technique that Nikolas Ilic uses which I found out is from a site names Cup O' Doddle. I usually draw a squiggle, and then from that form a character, since I like to allow people to see where the illustration stemmed from.

Hi, This is a little something I created when I went back to my old graphic design course at college to teach. The students had to design a poster for the Olympics which wasn't the typical style, so whilst helping them I thought I might as well make my own and this is what I came up with. Its nice to upload a piece of graphics besides just illustrations for a change since this is where my interest in animation started.

Hi again, this is a piece of concept art for my two previous characters that I designed. I usually have quite a simplistic background that accompanies my character designs but I decided with these two that I wanted to expand on that and illustrate an entire scene.

Sheriff Vs Bandit

Hi, these are just a few more character designs I came up with, I seem to be designing whatever concept comes into my head now. The idea behind it was to develop my understanding of contrasts. I am trying to do a lot more illustrations and designs lately so I can draw things I have never done before and so I can improve the range of my drawing ability. I am hoping to start trying new techniques and medias soon.

Hi, these are just a pair of professors that I came up with whilst procrastinating from my dissertation... If I would say so myself it has been quite productive. 

Old Red

I decided to age the characters from Red Riding Hood since I wanted to see what they would have looked like if the wolf wasn't defeated by the man with the axe and how the story then could have turned out.
